Early Years Statutory Framework: building on what works or changing the foundations?

In December 2011 Cordis Bright held a series of successful events for teachers which looked at action planning for implementing the proposed changes to the EYFS, as it develops into the Foundation Years. Delegates worked together on the revised EYFS, planning at strategic and classroom level, the impact on Children’s Centres, ways forward for assessment, curriculum development and took home a range of helpful handouts including a “Plain English Guide to implementing EYFS”

The Early Years Network

This event was part of the Cordis Bright Early Years Network. The Early Years Network aims to help you develop your own solutions. Local authority colleagues from all over England are invited to be part of the Network. There are three annual network events in London, held at ORT House in Camden. Local authority colleagues unable to attend may request the process to be delivered to their local network. You can find more information about the Early Years Network, including documents for downloads from here.

You can read more about our event on the Foundation Years "Crisis or Confirmation," held in July 2011 here.
