In July 2011 Cordis Bright held a series of successful events for teachers which looked at the proposed changes to the EYFS, as both a phase of education birth to 5 and a set of curriculum and assessment materials for that phase. Delegates heard about the proposed revised EYFS and the consultation documents. We also explored the recommendations from the Tickell Review upon which the new EYFS is based. All delegates received a memory stick containing key documents. The materials we are making available to you here summarise the main points covered during the event. We hope that you find them useful.
This event was part of the Cordis Bright Early Years Network. The Early Years Network aims to help you develop your own solutions. Local authority colleagues from all over England are invited to be part of the Network. There are three annual network events in London, held at ORT House in Camden. Local authority colleagues unable to attend may request the process to be delivered to their local network. You can find more information about the Early Years Network, including documents for downloads from here.
