Health

Cordis Bright has extensive experience of successfully supporting the integration and interfaces between health, social services, the criminal justice system and other partners as well as developing and delivering health care at home in the community. We understand the professional, legislative and cultural dynamics of the range of health partnerships. We take a whole systems view of improving health and wellbeing and prevention to institutional and acute services.

We have considerable expertise in developing strategy and supporting service delivery, including integrated teams. We work particularly with:

  • Services that put people in control
  • Services to support people at home
  • Mental health
  • Older people's services
  • Substance misuse services
  • CAMHS
  • Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
  • Community safety
  • Strategies to improve wellbeing and public health and to tackle inequalities

We help these partnerships to work together more effectively.

We offer a valuable perspective of the overlaps between a PCT's statutory duty to improve health of the population and a local authority's statutory responsibility for the well-being of the population.

For example, we:

  • Help local authorities and health partners to engage in parallel, integrated and joint commissioning, including pooled budgets
  • Facilitate the complex relationships between partners
  • Work with partnerships to develop joint plans and strategies
  • Help to deliver performance improvement
