Cordis Bright's consultancy serves four sets of inter-related needs: understanding the external environment; internal operational support; performance improvement and value for money, and help with strategy and planning.

The kinds of consultancy we do

Cordis Bright's advises on a wide range of questions, from trouble shooting specific problems with individual services through to broad strategic and organisational issues.

A typical consultancy project might include helping our clients with:

  • Working towards broad, long-term goals, such as a modernisation agenda, managing the tensions between cost-savings, quality and individualisation of services
  • Identifying and working with partners, particularly working across statutory/non-statutory boundaries, and partnerships with Health

  • Looking at an individual organisation's operational effectiveness and developing practical improvements

One of the characteristics that makes us different from other consultants is our willingness to engage with our clients on an informal, 'real-time' basis.

We do of course we provide formal consultancy services. But we also encourage our clients to pick up the phone and ask our views there and then.

Sometimes, clients need a ten minute chat with someone knowledgeable, experienced and approachable - not an in-depth consultancy report. We are happy to work with you in this way.
