Research is a core part of what Cordis Bright does. We are determined to give clients advice and information based on evidence and a sound understanding of their worlds.
We are proud of our in-house, dedicated research team and the quality of the work it produces.
Our researchers are focused on providing practical and accurate answers to clients' real questions—not providing clever answers to theoretical questions. We offer intellectual rigour combined with a healthy dose of realism.
The Cordis Bright research team is skilled in a range of quantitative and qualitative research methods. We will work collaboratively with you to help define your questions and the best research approach.
Researchers can be involved at all stages of an assignment, from defining the scope of a project, to presenting final results to stakeholders.
Cordis Bright works on a broad range of research assignments—this gives you just a flavour of some of the things we can do
Much of our primary research involves engaging with marginalised and excluded groups, such as young offenders, people with learning disabilities, B&ME communities and young children. See inclusion, involvement and consultation for more information.
At Cordis Bright we believe mapping is a powerful tool in informing and helping clients decision making.
Placing data into map formats brings a level of clarity that can't be achieved by looking at numbers alone.
Mapping can be particularly helpful for needs analysis exercises. We can use bespoke measures and proxy indicators, for example to identify areas of deprivation and likely demand for services.
Maps like these can be used to analyse a range of demographic factors matched to outcomes indicators and service provision. They can be used to help identify where gaps in investment, provision and networks exist.
Data can be analysed at a national, regional, local authority, ward, and super-output area level.
