Michael joined Cordis Bright in 1998 and is a Director and Company Secretary. Michael has substantial experience of working in central government, holding senior positions for the Department of Trade and Industry, Foreign and Commonwealth Office and HM Treasury (CCTA). After a spell as Head of Strategy and Development at CCTA, he led the Professional Practices team of Spicer & Pegler, which provided change consultancy to City-based professional and financial organisations. He then held various senior management roles at the London Stock Exchange, including Director of Settlement Services.

He subsequently worked in the NHS, and retired from Pathfinder Mental Health Services NHS Trust, where he was Director responsible for human resources and IT. During this time, he led a major change programme within the trust as it responded to the nationally driven change agenda.
