Since joining Cordis Bright, Michael has worked on evaluations of pilot projects for older people, several Childcare Sufficiency Assessments, and an HR transformation process for a large charity. He has strong research skills covering a wide range of methodologies, including the analysis of large scale quantitative survey data as well as designing and conducting qualitative interviews and focus groups.
Michael has a background in journalism, having covered issues surrounding education policy, juvenile delinquency and childcare for German television. For a German federal ministry, he conducted research into the representation of families and family policy in the media. Michael holds a degree in Social and Political Sciences from Cambridge University and an MSc in Comparative Social Policy from Oxford University.
