Tim works with local authorities as a consultant in both interim management and policy development roles, particularly in supporting the integration of adult social care and health care services.
He is skilled across the full range of children and adult social care services and has considerable experience of commissioning, performance and quality management and of change and project management. He has a successful track record in the development and enabling of the user and carer voice and progressing partnership arrangements across the public sector and independent sectors.
Tim has 25 years experience in social care in practitioner, operational and strategic management roles including four years as Assistant Director of Social Services. He has served on the board of NHS bodies and as a school governor in both professional and personal capacities. Over the past three years, Tim has also been an adviser and consultant to the Local Government Association on adult social care and has represented local government and the social care community on a number of national policy developments and initiatives
