Bethany has a first-class degree in Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick and an MSc in International Development from the University of Bristol.

Bethany's skills and experience include:

  • Qualitative consultation with various groups, including strategic stakeholders, delivery staff, community stakeholders and children and young people.
  • Undertaking quantitative research analysis, including analysis of large sets of survey data and performance data.
  • Writing high-quality research reports and comprehensive literature and policy reviews.

Her recent and current projects include: 

  • Guidance on performance and improvement framework for social care services in Wales.
  • Evidence reviews of specialist further education provision; outlining the tools and indicators organisations can use to monitor outcomes for children and young people with SEND across employment, education, and training.
  • A needs assessment for children with complex needs who are looked after or on the edge of care.
  • An evaluation of a programme which provides employability and wrap-around support to young people, classified as having learning disabilities, difficulties, autism (LDDA).
  • Data analysis for an evaluation of a programme which supports children and young people affected by domestic violence.
  • Data analysis for an evaluation of two Covid-19 pathfinders seeking to tackle the over-representation of specific groups in the criminal justice sector.
