Caitlin de Souza

Caitlin has a first-class BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Leicester and an MSc in Social and Cultural Psychology from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her dissertations focused on the relationship between Brexit and prejudice, and the influence of the media in facilitating implicit bias towards migrants.

   

Prior to joining Cordis Bright, Caitlin worked for P3 Charity as a mental health support worker where she researched and ran workshops equipping clients with psychological skills to manage their mental health needs. Caitlin volunteered for Romsey Mill Trust, supporting children on the Autism spectrum. She has also volunteered for the NHS on an acute psychiatric ward in Cambridgeshire.

Caitlin’s skills include:

  • Quantitative research including statistical analysis using Excel, SPSS, and R.
  • Qualitative thematic analysis and NVivo.
  • Undertaking in depth literature reviews.
  • Designing and conducting both surveys and interviews.
  • Reproducing scientific information for a diverse range of stakeholders.
