Alice's current and recent projects include:

  • Vital 5 programme evaluations, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Foundation Trust. The Vital 5 are risk factors that make a big difference to health inequalities and the onset of ill-health in South East London. These are high blood pressure, obesity, smoking, alcohol and common mental health conditions. Cordis Bright provided evaluation support to a number of programmes under the Vital 5 umbrella, including developing Theories of Change and Evaluation Frameworks in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Evaluation of the Real Living Wage for Social Care Workers in Wales, Welsh Government. In April 2022, the Welsh Government launched its policy to pay the Real Living Wage to all social care workers in Wales. Cordis Bright was commissioned to conduct process and impact evaluations of the implementation of the policy.
  • Mapping the journeys of unpaid carers, Essex County Council. This research was co-produced with a steering group including unpaid carers, local organisations and commissioners. In-depth interviews were used to create tailored visual outputs to illustrate carers' experiences and identify opportunities to strengthen support.
  • Evaluation of Pupil Premium Plus Post-16, Department for Education. Pupil Premium Plus Post-16 provides additional funding to local authorities across England to support education and employment outcomes for care experienced young people aged 16 and above. Cordis Bright, in partnership with the Rees Centre, University of Oxford, are delivering this mixed-methods process and impact evaluation.

Alice has a PhD in Biological Sciences and first class degree in Natural Sciences, both from the University of Cambridge.
