Dr Hannah Marshall

Associate

Hannah holds a First Class degree with distinction in Sociology from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Sociocultural Anthropology from Brown University. She is currently a PhD student at the Institute of Criminology at the University of Cambridge, where her research focuses on transnational organised crime and the criminalisation of migrant women. Hannah has also worked as a researcher and volunteer within the criminal justice sector, and has experience of working with groups including: women and young people with lived experience of the criminal justice system and survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

   

Hannah’s skills and experience in research include:

  • Designing, conducting, and analysing data from semi-structured interviews and focus groups.
  • Ethnographic research including participant observation.
  • Writing and presenting comprehensive literature and policy reviews.
  • Project management.
