Lily has a first class BA in Social Anthropology from The School of Oriental and African Studies and an MSc with Distinction in Digital Anthropology from UCL. 


Previously, Lily’s research has focused on the intersection between technology and social issues, looking at topics such as gender, wellbeing, and housing. She is trained in digital research techniques and has used online platforms to conduct and present social research. Before joining Cordis Bright, Lily worked in a children’s charity where she engaged with beneficiaries and stakeholders to measure social impact.

Lily’s skills include:

  • Conducting qualitative research, including structured, semi-structured, and unstructured interviews, and using anthropological techniques such as ethnography and participant observation.
  • Rigorous thematic analysis of qualitative data.
  • Researching and writing engaging and high-quality reports and literature reviews.
  • Utilising innovative digital methods to conduct qualitative research, such as digital listening, social media ethnography, and virtual participant observation.
