The Cordis Pulse is a digest of recent policy and practice developments in our sectors. 

As you'll see, it includes our work with the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) in the development of their Spring Budget Survey report for 2022. The report sets out a challenging environment of insufficient resources against growing cost pressures driven by national living wage uplifts and rising inflation. It also begins to provide a clear picture of the longer-term consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic and more people coming forward seeking help for more complex levels of need. On a more positive note, it also identifies the resilience and dedication of people working in adult social care and their willingness and ability to go above and beyond what could be expected of them.
