Cordis Bright have recently conducted a programme concept test study of the Amber programme for the Youth Futures Foundation.

The Amber programme provides supported accommodation for young people aged 16 to 30 who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, who are unemployed, and who may have additional complex needs. The Amber programme provides young people with a temporary, safe place to live, and aims to support them to secure sustainable employment, education and accommodation. The programme’s key principles draw from established theories and practices. These include holistic, person-centred support, multi-agency partnership working, and consistent structure and routine.

The aim of the programme concept test study was to identify how the Amber programme operates, to support the Amber Foundation to understand which elements of delivery work most effectively and why, and to build capacity for future impact evaluation.

Youth Futures Foundation have recently published the final report, which is available below. Additional information about the study is available on the YFF website. For further information, please contact Emma Andersen at emmaandersen@cordisbright.co.uk.
