Statistical analysis plan for Future Men's Boys Development Programme
Download our plan.
Cordis Bright are proud to be conducting a randomised controlled trial efficacy study of Future Men’s Boys Development Programme, funded by the Youth Endowment Fund. As part of this, we have produced a statistical analysis plan.
This statistical analysis plan sets out our planned analyses for the end of the trial. This includes:
- Primary analysis of self-reported outcomes measures to understand whether the BDP has impacted school engagement.
- Secondary analysis of self-reported outcomes measures to understand the BDP’s impact on social and emotional outcomes, and on trusted relationships with practitioners.
- Exploratory analysis including whether the BDP works differently for those from different ethnic backgrounds, and for boys who are eligible for free school meals.
There is limited evidence on what works to improve school engagement for boys from marginalised backgrounds in the UK, and our analysis at the end of the study will contribute to this limited evidence base.
We would love to hear your thoughts in relation to the Future Men RCT and statistical analysis plan. Please contact Dr Steve Boxford on stephenboxford@cordisbright.co.uk or Emma Andersen on emmaandersen@cordisbright.co.uk.
