Evidence-based family therapy provision and how the care system can protect children in care from involvement in violence
Research. Family Therapy. Care system. Violence. Research. Youth Endowment Fund.
The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) have funded Cordis Bright to conduct two complementary reviews which aim to strengthen the evidence base on how children and families can best be supported and their risk of involvement in violence reduced. We are inviting local authority colleagues to complete a short survey on evidence-based parenting and family therapy provision and how the care system can protect children in care from involvement in violence.
We are seeking responses from Directors/Assistant Directors of Children’s Services and commissioners and service managers across early help, family support, children’s social care, youth justice, public health, and SEND. Respondents will be directed to a set of questions appropriate to your role.
Insights will inform YEF guidance for children’s services (2026) - the more local authorities and service areas we hear from, the more impactful the work will be.
