Colin is Cordis Bright’s Managing Director. He works closely with other Directors and the wider team to ensure high quality support for clients and a focus on achieving sustained and meaningful impact on public services.

Since joining Cordis Bright in 2005, Colin has focused his client work on children’s social care. He has additional expertise in schools, special educational needs, early help, domestic abuse, criminal justice, child health (including mental health), maternity services, and public health. His clients include central government, local authorities, NHS, and major children’s charities.

His expertise encompasses needs assessments, process and impact evaluation, economic analysis, options appraisals, service reviews, practice audits, training, coaching and facilitation, strategic planning, commissioning, performance improvement.

Outside of Cordis Bright, Colin is a trustee of School-Home Support, a charity aiming to make sure children are in school, ready to learn. He sits on Finance and Impact Committees.

Prior to joining Cordis Bright, Colin worked for an education consultancy team focused on school improvement, special educational needs and inclusion, and school infrastructure.

Colin has a BA in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge and an Executive Masters in Public Administration from the London School of Economics.
