Gemma is a Senior Consultant with expertise in research and evaluation across migration, criminal justice and policing. She has extensive experience designing and delivering mixed-method research, evaluations, and evidence reviews to inform policy and practice, supporting local and national government, charities, and international organisations.
Before joining Cordis Bright, Gemma worked at the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime, where she project managed research into the perpetration of violence against women and girls, evaluations of programmes to reduce reoffending, and a strategic review of police offender management. Prior to this, she specialised in migration research at ODI Global, contributing to major international migration research programmes. She has also worked for the Institute for Research into International Migration and Superdiversity, the British Red Cross, and the Refugee Council, supporting frontline service delivery of the Syrian Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme. She holds an LLB from Edinburgh University and an MSc in International Public Policy from UCL.Gemma’s skills include:
