Transitioning from healthcare, Sophia began a career as an Office Manager which led her to collaborate with the renowned ice cream mochi brand, Little Moons, and most recently the agricultural tech R&D company, DryGro (with operations based in Kenya), who aimed to shake up the protein industry with water lentils.

Sophia has strong problem-solving, people management and technology skills. Prior to working at Cordis Bright, she has: 

• Project managed and provided support to a procurement project worth £100K in which ~700 pieces of equipment were procured and transported from Europe to Kenya within 3 months.
• Developed a software review project to change and consolidate DryGro’s software suite, which helped DryGro work more efficiently together and saved the company £18.5K.
• Created and rolled out policies and cultural initiatives to bring teams together across multiple continents.
• Created fit-for-purpose systems to manage the flow of data, including an export tracking system which supported Little Moons shipments of £1 million in sales monthly.
• Digitised Little Moons cash sales, reducing risk of loss of £10k per month.
