How movement impacts our mental health

Mental Health Awareness Week is a worldwide initiative, which for 2024 took place between the 13-19 May. This year, the week's theme was movement: moving more for our mental health.

At Cordis Bright, our observance extends for a month, running from 13th May to 13th June, to celebrate mental health, as part of which we continue to ensure Cordis Bright ensures staff feel comfortable talking about their mental health in the workplace.

As part of our internal events, we have produced a short blog post on how movement can impact our mental health, the impact of social determinants impacting our mental health outcomes, and ways to overcome common barriers to being physically active.
