February is LGBTQ+ History Month.
At Cordis Bright, we’re focusing on:
- Responding to domestic abuse within the LGBTQ+ population. Expanding our previous work on 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence, we’ll be undertaking a deep-dive to examine what we’ve learned from our projects in relation to LGBTQ+ people’s experiences of gender-based violence.
- Celebrating queer joy via a month-long film festival. We’re watching films or TV programmes recommended by the Cordis Bright team that explore the topic of queer joy.
