During our celebration of the 36th annual Women’s History Month, we’re pleased to publish this Cordis Bright bulletin, exploring period poverty— the lack of access to appropriate menstrual products due to financial barriers.
This bulletin provides insight of the current state of period poverty and its consequences for the mental, physical, and financial health of people who menstruate across the United Kingdom.
At Cordis Bright, we work towards improving outcomes for people and want to ensure that the spotlight placed on inequalities during Women’s History Month continues throughout the rest of the work we do. We are hosting a month-long, office-wide period product drive through which the collected products will be donated to our local project of the Hygiene Bank.
We hope that this bulletin provides valuable and interesting information and can help stimulate further conversations about ways to better understand and address period poverty.
