Last year, Cordis Bright worked with Suffolk County Council and the three Clinical Commissioning Groups which operate in Suffolk. We helped them explore a number of issues concerning the availability of residential and nursing home beds. We used this evidence to provide recommendations about managing demand, increasing supply and developing pricing approaches which are sustainable for all parties. The Commissioners in Suffolk are now working closely with local providers and service users to agree a viable care home commissioning strategy.
